I just wanted to see what the comic would look like so far printed and how the pages would flow, I'm relatively happy with the results so far. Obviously the bigger the comic gets (I'm on page 23 with at least 41 left) it'll be harder for me to do these tests so I'll be … Continue reading Print test of the first 11 pages of the comic.

Crimson Peak
Thought I'd take a break from working on my comic tonight and trying to get some work together for Manchester Film and Comic con. I decided to draw some Crimson Peak Illustrations as it is one of my favourite horror films and the visuals are vivid and really cool to look at. I … Continue reading Crimson Peak
Courtney Love
Decided to have a play with watercolours for a change of pace from my comic, I'm sadly too impatient and there's a lot of unintentional smudging though I'm not sure if it adds or detracts really, or even if it really looks like her (though I think the grungy textures definitely represent Hole).
Test print
Just did a test print of the first 10 pages of our comic! I have a table booked for the 21st and the 22nd of May where I'm looking at selling a limited run of these before the full comic is for sale in October (ready for thoughtbubble)
Portraits of a Nightmare
Last minute submission for Critter Shed's Portraits of a Nughtmare. Didn't take me long and was fun to draw! Mixed media, ink and photoshop 🙂

Here's the first page, hopefully this comic will be finished and for … Continue reading Sunday editing
Working on my comic today :)
Page inked using a Japanese Sumi brush (I actually bought in Japan on my travels) and a quill 🙂 I'm feeling very happy with my results and the textures. More pages tomorrow!
Watercolours
Had a little play with water couples last night after not touching them for quite a long time. I forgot how versatile they are and how even kinda crappy pictures can be fixed with a dash of colour! I decided to redraw my mermaid who I previously drew digitally which was fun to do … Continue reading Watercolours
