Madonna

I really enjoyed the colour palette for my last piece Ritual, so I decided to try my hand on a follow up piece, this time titled Madonna.

I’m fairly pleased with how she’s come out, and had quite a lot of fun with the composition of the image and rendering the decorative elements. I feel like I may do a third illustration and make it a triptych, though I’m not sure…we’ll see if inspiration strikes.
