Ritual

my take on the prompt ‘ritual’ which is the theme of Liverpool Light Night. I decided I’d like to take part in Liverpool Horror Clubs event for the night and designed this piece.

It’s designed to be a subversion on sacrifice.

I had a strong idea of what colour palette I wanted to use as well as the subject matter, I let intuition guide the composition and as a result I feel very proud of this image and the overall aesthetic. I would possibly like to do a series in this style at some point.
